Welcome to Felix Farm Trout Fishery
Felix Farm Trout Fishery is a long-established fly fishing lake, regularly stocked with hard-fighting rainbows between 2lbs and 10lbs. The lake has proven to be a very popular venue for fly fishers of all levels of ability – from the seasoned and experienced, to the casual leisure fishers, juniors and novices of all ages. The fishery is located close to the M4 motorway and is within easy reach of the urban and rural areas of the Thames Valley, and only a 30-minute drive from London. Please use the map on the right to locate us and help you plan your journey.
The mature, spring-fed 8-acre lake is bordered by woodland and fields, and features both shallow and deep water swims of 3 to 30ft deep. The water can be fished from bank or boat – from the open and accessible meadowland bank, on one of the 6 fishing platforms positioned along the wooded side, or from one of our 6 Cormorant rowing boats.
There is a plentitude of wildlife in and around Felix Farm, with a vast array of birdlife to see, such as Kingfisher, Heron, Snipe, Pochard, Grebe, Egyptian Geese, Tufted Duck, Coot, Mallard and Swan, as well as a range of Bunting and Finch species. Birds of prey also frequent the area and Red Kite, Buzzard, Kestrel, Sparrow Hawk and Hobby all make their appearance from time-to-time.

“Absolutely brilliant day, everyone was very friendly and full of great recommendations, very hot day so the fish were out deep in the middle “big black and ugly” flys and an intermediate line and a boat were the winning combination.
Thankyou very much for today, a lovely fishery with plenty of wildlife to watch and some lovely fish to catch!”
